Former Bank of England Deputy Governor Jon Cunliffe Joins Fnality as UK Chair
Former Bank of England Deputy Governor Jon Cunliffe has joined blockchain wholesale settlement firm Fnality as chairman of its UK operating entity, according to Bloomberg.
Former Bundesbank payments chief Jochen Metzger has also joined Fnality Europe’s supervisory board and is expected to become its chair. Backed by institutions including Goldman Sachs, UBS, Santander, Bank of America and Citi, Fnality is seeking regulatory approval to launch dollar and euro versions of its institutional wholesale payment system.
