Anthropic Seeks Up to $100 Billion in IPO at Around $2 Trillion Valuation; Nvidia Weighs Up to $10 Billion Investment
Anthropic is in talks with Nvidia to bring the chipmaker in as an anchor investor for its planned IPO, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Anthropic is seeking to raise as much as $100 billion at a valuation of around $2 trillion, while Nvidia is considering investing up to $10 billion in the offering. The plans remain under discussion and could change. The listing is expected to be completed before the U.S. midterm elections in November. Anthropic raised $65 billion in May at a $965 billion post-money valuation, and its annualized revenue run rate exceeded $65 billion by the end of July.
