Highlight Clip JPMorgan CEO: I Wouldn't Invest in Long-Dated U.S. Treasuries or the S&P 500 JPMorgan CEO: I Wouldn't Invest in Long-Dated U.S. Treasuries or the S&P 500 JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon said in a July 21 interview with The Master Investor Podcast that he would not currently buy long-dated U.S. government bonds or make major stock purchases at current prices. He said global debt and fiscal deficits are too high, and even if inflation falls to 2%, the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield should be between 4% and 4.5%, leaving limited upside from current levels. Asked about the S&P 500, Dimon said he prefers evaluating companies individually rather than investing in an index, but would still consider a sufficiently attractive opportunity.
