SPAIN’S SPY AGENCY WARNED AHEAD OF CEUTA MIGRANT SURGE
Spain’s CNI intelligence agency warned Madrid and Moroccan authorities one day before more than 70,000 migrants crossed into Ceuta, newly declassified documents show.
The CNI flagged social-media groups with 180,000 followers discussing plans to storm the border.
The disclosures could increase scrutiny over whether authorities did enough to prevent the crossing.
Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares said officials had no warning that the surge would reach such a massive scale.
