TRUMP BACKS $17.5 BILLION NUCLEAR PUSH The Trump administration is offering $17.5 billion in low-cost loans to support construction of 10 new Westinghouse AP1000 nuclear reactors across the U.S. Officials say the program could cut development timelines by up to three years and help meet rising power demand driven by AI data centers. The first new reactors could begin operating as early as 2035.
