Wife of The Sandbox Co-Founder Targeted in Suspected Crypto-Linked Kidnapping Attempt
The wife of The Sandbox co-founder and COO Sebastien Borget was targeted in an attempted kidnapping this week at her home in Seine, France. The suspects allegedly posed as delivery workers to trick her into opening the gate, after which five masked accomplices rushed in and attempted to force her into a vehicle.
The attackers fled after neighbors heard her calls for help and intervened. Police have arrested two suspects, while four others remain at large. Preliminary investigations suggest the attack may be linked to cryptocurrency.
