BESSENT DISMISSES TREASURY MARKET CONCERNS
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says the bond market remains in “very good shape” despite 10-year yields reaching their highest since 2023.
He also downplayed Thursday’s smaller-than-expected buyback, saying Treasury purchased $5.19 billion versus a $6 billion maximum because bondholders were reluctant to sell long-term securities.
