Strategy CEO: Will Continue Buying Bitcoin Even If BTC Surpasses Its All-Time High
On September 2, 2026, Strategy CEO Phong Le said in an interview that the company remains a net buyer of Bitcoin. Even if the price reaches $80,000, $90,000, or $100,000, or even surpasses $130,000 to set a new all-time high, Strategy will continue buying.
The company previously sold around 7,000 Bitcoin, representing less than 1% of its holdings, mainly to fund preferred stock dividends and share repurchases. Phong Le said Strategy follows a two-way capital strategy, maintaining the flexibility to buy and sell Bitcoin as well as raise capital through stock financing.
