$NVDA - NVIDIA TO ACQUIRE HUGGING FACE IN $11.9BN DEAL
Nvidia has agreed to acquire Hugging Face in a deal valued at about $11.9 billion for shareholders.
Hugging Face will remain an open AI platform.
Nvidia also plans up to $1 billion in employee retention awards.
The deal is expected to close in H1 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
