August 2026 Exchange Derivatives Volume Report: total $3.51 trillion, MoM increased 15.9%, futures/spot decreased 2.6%
WuBlockchain data shows that derivatives trading volume across major crypto exchanges reached $3.51 trillion in August, up 15.9% MoM. Binance ranked first with $1.67 trillion and a 47.7% market share, followed by OKX at $636.6 billion and Bybit at $312.8 billion. The top three exchanges accounted for 74.7% of total volume. The futures-to-spot volume ratio fell 2.6% MoM to 6.87x from 7.06x in July.
