TANKER DELAYS EXTEND OIL MARKET REBALANCING
Tanker voyage times from the Persian Gulf to Asia mean oil markets would rebalance slowly even after the Strait of Hormuz reopens, Rabobank strategists say. Fully laden shipments to India, China, South Korea and Japan take 28–55 days, keeping inventories under pressure. Rerouted vessels via the Cape of Good Hope could take 1–2 months to fully restart normal operations after any pause in hostilities.
