South Korea Makes First Arrest and Prosecution in DEX Rug Pull Case According to Digital Asset, South Korean prosecutors charged a criminal group accused of manipulating the price of the Solana-based meme coin CATFI and generating KRW 400 million (~ $260,000) in illegal profits, marking the country’s first arrest and prosecution related to a DEX rug pull case. Investigators said the main suspect, surnamed Park, posed on social media as influencer “Eth Father” and falsely promoted CATFI as an independent third party before executing a rug pull that caused KRW 900 million in losses to 256 investors.
