JPMorgan to Offer JPM Coin Deposit Token to Institutional Clients on Ethereum
According to Bloomberg, JPMorgan announced that it will offer its JPM Coin deposit token to institutional clients on Ethereum, enabling round-the-clock payments that settle in seconds. The token represents clients’ U.S. dollar deposits at JPMorgan and first launched on Base last year. It is expected to support on-chain payments for large clients in the crypto sector, as well as settlement or collateralization of tokenized asset transactions by financial institutions.
