STARMER STEPS DOWN
Keir Starmer officially resigned as U.K. prime minister, declaring that “my work is done.” In his farewell speech, he said he had rebuilt the Labour Party after its 2019 defeat, led it to a landslide election victory in 2024, and leaves Britain “stronger and fairer” than when he took over.
