India’s Largest Agricultural Warehousing Platform Arya ag Partners with Avalanche to Bring $2 Billion in Grain-Backed Lending Onchain
India’s largest agricultural warehousing platform, Arya ag, is partnering with Avalanche to build a dedicated Layer 1 blockchain for tokenizing grain inventory receipts, electronic negotiable warehouse receipts and related agricultural loan collateral.
Arya ag says its warehouses hold about $2 billion worth of crops and facilitate roughly $1.3 billion in agricultural credit annually. Ava Labs India head Devika Mittal said three major banks have already connected to the network, which may later be opened to other warehousing companies.
