MEN MORE LIKELY TO NEGOTIATE PAY RISES Men are more likely than women to use outside job offers to secure higher pay, a new study found, with researchers estimating the practice accounts for about half of the gender pay gap. Women are just as likely to change jobs, but are less likely to leverage external offers for raises, suggesting pay transparency alone may not close the gap.
