Thailand’s Central Bank and SEC Probe High-Value USDT Transactions
According to The Nation, the Bank of Thailand is working with the country’s Securities and Exchange Commission to analyze high-volume stablecoin transactions, with a particular focus on USDT. Regulators said some transactions may have been structured to conceal beneficial ownership or bypass domestic remittance channels. The findings have been referred to the SEC for further regulatory and enforcement action.
