TRUMP PROMISES $5,000 DIVIDEND IF GOP WINS MIDTERMS
President Donald Trump pledged a $5,000 payment to every adult U.S. citizen if Republicans retain control of Congress in November.
Trump credited U.S. economic performance for the proposal, which would cost more than $1 trillion.
He also urged supporters to “pretend that I’m on the ballot,” effectively framing the midterms as a referendum on his presidency.
Trump said oil prices would fall once the war with Iran ends.
