BESSENT: U.S. ECONOMIC PRESSURE IS CUTTING OFF IRAN'S OIL LIFELINE
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says Iran's main oil-loading terminal on Kharg Island has gone from being filled with tankers to having “no crude tankers in sight.”
Bessent said “Operation Economic Outcast” is restricting Iran's oil revenues and its ability to fund military and nuclear activities.
“Kharg Island is now nothing more than a monument to the one thing the Iranian regime can still produce: failure.”
