IRAN ACCUSES CANADA OF BOWING TO U.S. PRESSURE
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei accused Canada of yielding to U.S. “intimidation” after Ottawa criticized Tehran over regional security and freedom of navigation.
Baghaei said Canada was supporting what Iran views as U.S. military aggression and economic pressure.
He also claimed the Strait of Hormuz was secure before the conflict, accusing Ottawa of misrepresenting regional conditions.
Baghaei called Canada’s position “strategic confusion and submission to intimidation.”
