RWA Perpetual Protocol Ostium Suffers Suspected $18 Million Exploit on Arbitrum Security firm Blockaid said it detected an exploit involving Ostium Vault on Arbitrum. According to Blockaid, the attacker used a registered PriceUpKeep forwarder and future-dated authorized oracle reports to create artificial trading profits, triggering an approximately $18 million USDC payout from the vault. The exploit transaction and attacker address have been disclosed, while the incident remains under investigation. Ostium is an RWA perpetual trading protocol focused on equities, commodities, and forex markets. The project has raised approximately $27.8 million from investors including General Catalyst, Jump Crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Wintermute, and GSR.
