Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev’s X Account Suspected Compromised, VLAD Token Exploiter Gains $1.2M–$1.3M
Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev’s X account was suspected to have been compromised after it posted an unusual message on July 23, 2026, claiming to launch Robinhood Chain’s “official” mascot token Vladhood (VLAD) and sharing a token contract address. The token contract was later marked as “SCAM” on the Robinhood Chain block explorer, warning users of potential fraud risks. The post has since been deleted. According to on-chain monitoring by MLM, the attacker generated around 650 ETH in proceeds from the VLAD token, worth approximately $1.2 million to $1.3 million.
