FT: Binance to Stop Serving EU Clients Next Week After Failing to Obtain MiCA Licence According to FT, Binance has notified EU clients that it will stop providing services to them from next week after failing to obtain a MiCA licence. From July 1, crypto companies operating in the EU must hold a MiCA licence or risk penalties. Binance’s application for a bloc‑wide licence in Greece was rejected last week, and it now plans to apply through France. Customers in Poland, Italy, Spain and France have received withdrawal instructions. Binance said some users may be affected before July 1, but it is not asking users to withdraw funds by then, adding that user assets remain safe and secure.
