RUBIO ASKED IF GREENLAND IS PART OF DENMARK: "FOR NOW"
Marco Rubio said U.S.–Denmark–Greenland talks on collective defense are “in a good place,” focusing on missile defense and military cooperation.
Asked if Greenland is part of Denmark, he replied: “For now.”
He added discussions are ongoing monthly and may lead to stronger U.S. defense access. The issue follows earlier tensions over U.S. remarks about potentially acquiring Greenland.
Greenland remains a semi-autonomous Danish territory.
