Bitwise announced that it will liquidate and close its Dogecoin ETF (NYSE: BWOW). The fund is expected to cease operations after its final trading day on October 14, 2026, with creations of new shares also ending. Remaining shareholders will receive a cash distribution on October 22 based on the fund’s net asset value as of October 21, with no action required. Bitwise said the liquidation is part of an adjustment to its product lineup.
