HORMUZ FEES COULD SHAKE GLOBAL SHIPPING
Oman has told European allies that ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz may face new fees for navigation or environmental services.
The proposal has raised concerns among Western and Gulf nations, which fear joint management with Iran could threaten free passage and increase shipping costs for global energy and trade.
