BlackRock IBIT Investors Average 40% Loss
ETF Store President Nate Geraci, citing Bloomberg, said BlackRock’s IBIT once reached $44.4 billion in assets after rapidly attracting inflows following its 2024 launch. By mid‑2025, the average investor had gained about 30 %, but following the recent sharp decline in Bitcoin, the average BlackRock spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) investor is now down about 40 %. Geraci said it has been a brutal entry experience for mainstream Bitcoin investors.
