TRUMP SAYS U.S. WILL CONSIDER PERMANENT MILITARY BASE IN LITHUANIA
President Trump says the U.S. will consider establishing a permanent military base in Lithuania, potentially replacing the current rotational model.
Lithuania’s prime minister says the country is prepared to cover the costs of hosting a permanent U.S. presence.
Around 1,000 U.S. troops have typically rotated through Lithuania, which has hosted American forces since 2014.
