FED RATE CUT HOPES FADE AS INFLATION OUTLOOK RISES A Reuters poll shows economists are turning more hawkish on the U.S. economy and interest rates. Nearly half now expect the Federal Reserve to keep rates unchanged through 2026, while fewer economists expect rate cuts compared with April. The poll also raised inflation forecasts, with core PCE inflation now expected to average 3.9% in Q2 before easing later this year.
