Kraken Institutional, VerifiedX Sign MOU on Qualified Custody for vBTC
VerifiedX and Kraken Institutional have signed a memorandum of understanding outlining plans to add vBTC to Kraken’s qualified custody solution, giving institutions a potential regulated route to hold and use programmable Bitcoin. VerifiedX says vBTC is fully backed by native Bitcoin and redeemable for BTC through its protocol, while supporting settlement, programmable vaults and onchain financial applications.
