Ford CEO Jim Farley is targeting 5 million annual vehicle sales by 2032, roughly 20% above current volumes, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The strategy includes five new models priced below $40,000 by 2030, including the $30,000 Fathom electric pickup, expected to begin production in Q4 2027 and generate over 100,000 first-year sales.
Ford's global deliveries fell 9% through September, while its shares are down approximately 8.5% year-to-date.
