🇺🇸 WHAT TO WATCH TODAY — U.S. MARKETS A light U.S. data calendar puts the focus on oil, geopolitics, Treasury yields and Fed positioning. 8:30 AM ET — 🇨🇦 Canada CPI 11:00 AM ET — 🇺🇸 13-Week & 26-Week Treasury Bill Auctions After Close — 🫀 Kestra Medical Earnings After Close — 🎮 Dave & Buster’s Earnings All Day — 🛢️ Oil / Middle East Headlines ⸻ 🔥 OIL & MIDDLE EAST — KEY DRIVER With no major U.S. macro release, Middle East developments could dominate. Markets remain sensitive to disruptions across major energy routes, with crude above $100. Oil ↑ → inflation fears ↑ → Treasury yields ↑ → pressure on equities 🇨🇦 CANADA CPI The biggest scheduled macro release today. A significant inflation surprise could spill over into global bond markets as investors remain highly sensitive to inflation and central-bank policy. 🇺🇸 TREASURY AUCTIONS The Treasury sells 13-week and 26-week bills. These are less market-sensitive than longer-duration auctions, but demand remains worth watching with U.S. yields elevated. 🏦 FED No major Fed speakers are scheduled ahead of this week’s FOMC meeting. The Fed begins its two‑day meeting Tuesday, with the rate decision Wednesday at 2:00 PM ET. Watch the 2Y, 10Y, dollar and Fed‑rate pricing. 🛢️ ENERGY No EIA inventory report today. Crude will instead trade primarily on Middle East supply risks and geopolitical headlines. 🎮 EARNINGS Kestra Medical and Dave & Buster’s report after the close. Neither is expected to be a major index‑level catalyst.
